<p>This winning project was among the very few research grants to be funded by the UAE University for the great potential it brings to the University and the country's socioeconomic fabric.</p><p>The research project titled "Smart Nano-Photonic Structures for Vision and Solar Energy Harvesting", was set up as an international collaboration research project between myself and my colleague Prof. Bo Cui from the Quantum Nano-Center (<a href="https://bit.ly/QNC-UW" target="_blank">https://bit.ly/QNC-UW</a>) of the University of Waterloo (<a href="https://www.uwaterloo.ca" target="_blank">https://www.uwaterloo.ca</a>), Canada.</p><p>You may watch my collaboration visit talk along with the infrastructure I used at the QNC Nanofabrication facilities here: <a href="https://bit.ly/FaycalS_QNC-NanoFAB-CollaborKickOff" target="_blank">https://bit.ly/FaycalS_QNC-NanoFAB-CollaborKickOff</a></p>
