Proje Özeti

The 21st century witnesses unforgettable events every day. The changing temperature balance in the world, especially the recent epidemics, natural disasters such as severe earthquakes and the rates of destruction, direct us to find suitable living spaces. The need for small, flexible, durable, portable, practical and safe structures is constantly increasing. The goal we want to achieve in the project is to provide self-sufficient, portable structures for the urgent shelter needs of disadvantaged segments of our country living in regions that have experienced natural disasters such as earthquakes, storms and floods. With our priority on sustainable environment, our project will not only immediately solve the need for shelter by designing houses with applications containing innovative technology, but will also contribute to the development of resilient building techniques through the design of structures resistant to disasters expected in metropolises like Istanbul. Our motivation to implement this project is to develop effective strategies to put existing but unused innovation depots in the world into the service of disadvantaged people who are faced with the change of ecological balance. The result we expect from the project is to facilitate the production and logistics of smart city technologies, durable building materials, lightweight, easy-to-construct, economical, flexible structures that can be used in all seasons and are not affected by factors such as change of heat and floods. Thus, emergency management that does not require infrastructure will be facilitated with rapid designs suitable for the region, culture, soil and family structure. For example, the housing problems of Turkey's disadvantaged and earthquake victims can be solved with sustainable tinny houses placed near the disaster areas. Our project will examine sustainable construction under some headings: Nature, Climate change, Economy, and Ethical Codes
