The purpose of the center is to conduct scientific activities with an interdisciplinary approach addressing all forms of environmental pollution and environmental change that lead to environmental degradation within the scope of environmental and earth sciences.
In the fields of urbanism and architecture, it aims to carry out scientific research and activities that focus on creating sustainable cities and urban areas by addressing the social, economic, political, administrative, cultural, and physical issues affecting cities; to develop national and international collaborations; and to serve as the contemporary intellect of cities that adapt to changing and transforming conditions
