Özet
Women’s entrepreneurship plays a critical role in driving economic growth and fostering broad social transformation. Despite notable progress toward gender equality, women continue to confront systemic challenges—particularly the “glass ceiling,” which comprises invisible cultural and organizational barriers that severely restrict career advancement. Entrenched gender stereotypes, persistent work-family conflict, and limited access to critical resources remain primary obstacles. Digitalization has emerged as a promising mechanism to circumvent these challenges, offering women greater operational autonomy, flexibility, and expanded market access. The COVID-19 pandemic further accelerated the adoption of digital tools, specifically in domains such as digital marketing, e-commerce, and virtual customer engagement, thereby enabling women to manage their ventures more efficaciously. However, disparities in digital inclusion and a lack of targeted training opportunities continue to impede equitable progress. To fully harness the transformative potential of digitalization, robust, gender-responsive policies are imperative—particularly those prioritizing digital literacy, infrastructural development, and systemic cultural shifts. When equipped with appropriate technological tools and institutional scaffolding, women entrepreneurs are significantly better positioned to dismantle structural barriers, shatter the glass ceiling, and contribute to a more inclusive, resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem.
