THE ROLE OF DIGITAL CULTURE AND
KNOWLEDGE INERTIA IN THE EFFECT OF DIGITAL LEADERSHIP ON INNOVATIVE BEHAVIOR
Abstract
The effects and
relationships of digital leadership, digital culture and information inertia on
each other can create an important interaction network in the modern business
world. Digital leadership can be considered as a leadership style that directs
digital transformation in organizations and develops innovative and flexible
strategies during this transformation process. Digital leaders can support
employees' openness to change by encouraging digital culture and encouraging
employees to embrace digital tools and ways of thinking. However, the existence
of information inertia may pose an obstacle to this process. Stagnation caused
by information inertia and reliance on outdated information can undermine the
dynamic and innovative nature of digital culture. Therefore, digital leaders
need to develop strategies that encourage continuous learning and adaptation to
overcome information inertia. In this way, digital culture can be fully
embraced and the organization remains competitive. The purpose of this study is
to determine the role of information inertia and innovative behavior in the
impact of digital leadership on digital culture. Digital transformation can be
critical for organizations to achieve sustainable success. Digital leadership
can be a determining factor in the formation and adoption of digital culture,
but the presence of information inertia can negatively affect this process.
Understanding how information inertia hinders digital culture and how digital
leaders develop strategies to overcome this obstacle allows organizations to
remain innovative, flexible and competitive. The research will add new
relationships to the literature by making theoretical contributions and will
help organizations manage their digital transformation processes more
effectively with practical suggestions. In addition, the results of this study
can guide researchers and support the creation of new studies. In this context,
research is important. The reason for the research is that the studies
conducted between the variables of the research, digital leadership, innovation,
digital culture and information inertia, are insufficient.
