Abstract

Dental trauma is frequent within dental cases. Dental trauma of primary and permanent teeth causes functional defects besides esthetic problems. A favorable treatment plan should be prepared for the patient with the history of trauma after the clinical and radiological diagnosis. Since there is high rate of orthodontic treatment, the method of the orthodontic treatment, timing of the tooth movement and the force amount come into prominence. The aim of this review is to explain the properties of orthodontic treatment approaches of traumatized teeth.
