Özet

This study aims to identify key assessment criteria, methodological differences, and current

development trends by comparatively examining sustainability assessment systems widely used

on an international scale. The research employed systematic literature review and comparative

content analysis methods, analyzing scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science. The

LEED, BREEAM, DGNB, CASBEE, Green Star, G-SEED, and WELL systems were evaluated

based on parameters such as energy, water, materials, waste, indoor environmental quality, life

cycle, digitalization, occupant health, social sustainability, and climate change adaptation. The results

indicate that while these systems largely share common ground regarding key environmental

indicators, they differ in terms of life cycle, social sustainability, occupant-oriented performance,

resilience, and digital integration. Based on these findings, an integrated sustainability assessment

framework comprising seven dimensions—environmental performance, life cycle performance,

human-oriented performance, social performance, resilience and climate adaptation, digital performance,

and governance—is proposed. The study aims to provide a conceptual foundation for

future sustainability assessment approaches that are more holistic, data-driven, and user-centric.
