Preface
We are pleased to present the proceedings of the 13th International Symposium on Intelligent
Manufacturing and Service Systems (IMSS25), held in Düzce, Türkiye, from September 25 to
27, 2025. This annual symposium has become a prominent platform for researchers,
practitioners, and industry experts to share their latest findings, innovative methodologies, and
practical applications in the fields of intelligent manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and
service systems.
The IMSS25 symposium attracted a diverse and interdisciplinary community of contributors
from around the globe, reflecting the growing importance of collaborative research in
addressing complex challenges in modern production and service environments. The papers
included in this volume represent a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from machine learning
applications in manufacturing, digital twins, and cyber-physical systems to sustainable
production, human-centered automation, and data-driven service innovation.
Each submission underwent a rigorous peer-review process conducted by an international
panel of reviewers with expertise across multiple domains. We are deeply grateful to the
reviewers for their time, insight, and commitment to maintaining the scientific quality of this
publication. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the members of the organizing and
scientific committees, whose dedication and coordination made this event possible.
This proceedings book not only serves as a record of the symposium but also as a valuable
resource for researchers, engineers, and students seeking to explore the latest advancements
and emerging trends in intelligent systems. We hope that the knowledge shared within these
