Abstract

The head and neck region is an unusual site for a chondrosarcoma; more common sites are the long bones, pelvis, and ribs. Chondrosarcomas of the sinonasal cavity are slow-growing invasive cartilaginous, and they usually have a high grade of malignancy. We present a case of extraskeletal chondrosarcoma originating in the right nasal cavity of a 62-year-old man. © 2010 Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
