on the performance of professional accountants . Data, which was mostly processed manually in the periods when computers were not used intensively, has turned into a dynamic structure after the advancement of technologies and digital transformations. For this reason, accounting transactions, processing, sharing, storing, using and analyzing data have become much easier due to advanced technologies. The rapid and massive increase in information requires, on the one hand, the classification, meaning and grouping of information, and on the other hand, the reliability of data shared in electronic environments has been brought to the agenda. Storing and securing information is of vital importance for the profitability of businesses, continuity, efficiency and customer satisfaction. For this reason, the security of information in accounting transactions is of great importance for increasing trust in professional accountants, customer satisfaction, accurate decisions, superiority in competition and the continuity of businesses.

Qualitative deductive method was used in writing this study on information security in accounting transactions and its effects on the performance of professionals . In this context, secondary sources on the subject will be scanned; Articles, books, theses and similar written works were used. In writing this study on information security in accounting transactions and its effects on the performance of professionals, the qualitative deductive method will be followed and secondary sources on the subject, such as research, books, theses and similar written works, will be used. Scientific information obtained as a result of the studies to be carried out in this context; It is presented for the benefit of professionals, researchers, businesses and all interested parties.
