Özet
Abstract: This study aims to examine the approaches in the international literature regarding the protection of children's rights in general, and children's rights in sports in particular, and to determine the duties and responsibilities of relevant individuals, institutions, and organizations, and to develop various recommendations. In addition to the fundamental children's rights stemming from national and international legal regulations, protecting the rights of children in the process of participating in sports activities is of great importance. In this process, all stakeholders, primarily parents, but also educators, administrators, sports clubs, federations, educational institutions, sports organizations, coaches, and sports managers, have important duties and responsibilities. The ability of children to continue their development in healthier, safer, and more supportive environments is directly related to the protection of their physical, mental, and social wellbeing. In this context, guaranteeing the fundamental rights that children possess from birth in sports environments is not only a legal obligation but also a fundamental responsibility that should be addressed within the framework of universal ethical principles and social values.
