Inventory management, which is defined as an effective planning, controlling and monitoringprocess in general perspective, aims to reduce costs in the business and is based on theseprocesses. In this context, different methods are used in inventory management. With thesemethods, the current inventory cycle is planned and efficiency is increased. With an effectiveinventory management, the competitiveness of enterprises in the markets is increased andsustainable growth rates are also positively affected. Thus, an important factor in effectiveinventory management is the utilisation of economies of scale in the right context. In this study,an examination will be made on inventory management and economies of scale with theoreticalapproaches and research examples at the literature level. In the context of inventorymanagement and inventory types through the data obtained in this framework, the extent towhich economies of scale provide benefits and the extent to which they are affirmative for theenterprise will be examined.
