Abstract

In this study, assumed modes and lumped parameter methods are used to investigate the transversal vibrations of a flexible beam rotating around a fixed axis. Equations of motion are solved by using the 4th order Runge-Kutta method. Results are compared in terms of numerical values and solution times.
