Abstract

This paper describes a three-component LDA system which measures simultaneously all three components of the mean velocity vector and six components of the Reynolds stress tensor. Measurement accuracy of 3D LDA systems with nonorthogonal channels is also discussed. Analytical expressions are presented for errors in the mean velocity components and Reynolds stresses.
