Turkey is located in the world’s most important geo-strategic position and connected Asia with Europe. It is trying to use its geo-strategic position for its politico-economic interest in international level. It has taken different policies for becoming a regional power and to lead the Muslim countries as it was before as Ottoman Empire. In this context, Turkey is most successfully using its soft power instruments in Asia, Africa and the Balkans. Turkey’s governmental and non-governmental agencies have been working in South Asian countries since the 1990’s and doing different welfare and charity work in that region. All the efforts of these agencies making a positive image of Turkey in South Asia. This work has discussed the soft power issue and shown the efforts of Turkey’s soft power instruments in South Asian countries.
