Abstract

The 21st century has proven that innovation and technology will change the world forever. Through the expansion of the usage areas of ICT (information and communication technologies), important developments have occurred in basic business areas such as finance, banking, marketing, and production. At this point, the financial technology (FinTech) phenomenon has come to the fore in terms of financial sustainability. FinTech is a phenomenon that emerged as a result of the application of technology in the field of finance. In other words, financial services and activities are offered together with technology. FinTech is vital for the digital age. The use of technology and innovation in the financial field has confronted countries with new competition. FinTech applications, especially for developing countries, will provide a significant advantage in the global market. This study aims to examine the FinTech applications in Turkey, a developing country, and to explore its relationship with financial sustainability. In the study, the case of Turkey will be discussed and it is planned to give a profile of the FinTech market in Turkey in the context of financial sustainability.
