Lect. UĞUR CAN

Lecturer Uğur CAN received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University in 2014. He completed his master's degree in Modern Turkish Literature at Trakya University in 2017 with his thesis titled "Ercüment Behzat Lav’s Poetry (Poetics – Irony – Criticism)". Additionally, he is currently pursuing a second master's degree in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language at Yıldız Technical University. Since 2019, he has been working as a Lecturer at the Turkish and Foreign Language Application and Research Center of Istanbul Gelişim University. Between 2022 and 2026, he served as Vice Director in the same unit. His academic research primarily focuses on teaching Turkish as a foreign language, artificial intelligence in language education, and language skills. Can has published articles (1, 2, 3, 4) in national and international journals and presented papers (1, 2, 3, 4) at various academic conferences.
