Dr. Hina Zahoor is an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Gelisim University, Türkiye, with an interdisciplinary academic background spanning organizational behavior, human resource management, healthcare management, health sciences, nursing education, emotional intelligence, artificial intelligence, and sustainable healthcare.

Dr. Hina has been affiliated with Istanbul Gelisim University since 2019, initially serving as a Lecturer and currently as an Assistant Professor. Her teaching and academic supervision experience encompasses healthcare management, nursing, social work, communication, human behavior, public health, social work ethics, research methodology, and related health sciences subjects. She has extensive experience working with students from diverse cultural and national backgrounds and has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects across healthcare, nursing, social sciences, and public health.

Her research interests are strongly interdisciplinary, with a particular focus on emotional intelligence and leadership, strategic emotional intelligence, organizational behavior, healthcare leadership, sustainable healthcare, artificial intelligence in healthcare, emotional AI, digital health education, healthcare workforce development, and environmental sustainability. Her recent research increasingly explores how emerging technologies can be integrated into healthcare and education while maintaining human-centered values, ethical responsibility, inclusivity, and sustainability.

Dr. Hina has authored and co-authored research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to books and book chapters on emotional intelligence, healthcare sustainability, green leadership, emotional AI, healthcare communication, and sustainable health systems. Her recent publications address topics including AI-assisted healthcare, deep learning in breast cancer detection, self-leadership and stress among nursing students, sustainability attitudes among university students, virtual simulation in healthcare education, Lean Six Sigma in healthcare, and digital education for sustainable nursing practices.

She is also actively engaged in international academic conferences, collaborative research, scholarly reviewing, and academic knowledge exchange. Her international academic activities have included research presentations and invited teaching contributions related to emotional intelligence, AI, sustainable healthcare, leadership, health inequities, and the future health workforce.

A central theme across Dr. Hina 's academic work is the relationship between people, technology, organizations, and sustainability.
