Biography
1987 yılında Mimar Sinan Üniversitesinden Şehir ve Bölge Plancısı olarak mezun oldum, daha sonra Mersin Belediyesi'nde 2 yıl ve GAP Bölge Kalkınma İdaresinde 4 yıl Uzman olarak çalıştım, 1994 yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı Yurt Dışı Bursluluk sınavını kazandım, 1997 Yılında Kansas Üniversitesinden Kentsel Planlama Master derecesi, 2001 yılında Ohio Eyalet Üniversitesinden Kentsel Planlamada Doktora derecesini aldım, 2002 -2013 yılları arasında İzmir Yüksek Teknoloji Enstitüsünde, Yardımcı Doçent, Doçent ve Profesör olarak çalıştım. 2014 -2023 yılları arasında İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesinde Şehir Planlama Profesörü olarak çalıştm, 2023 yılında İTU'den emekli olarak, İstanbul Gelişim Üniversitesinde çalışmaya başladım..
